When you come to the Smoky Mountains a great way to get out and enjoy the fresh mountain air is by fishing! There are places throughout Gatlinburg where trout are stocked and fishing is allowed. However, a permit is required, and day passes are available when you arrive in the city. You can catch like rainbow and brown trout in our rivers.This is a great bonding experience for family and friends. Moreover, it can be a new skill/hobby you can try out!
Dollywood is named after country music singer Dolly Parton. Her joyful, upbeat music is played all throughout the park providing a pleasant atmosphere. The theme park is home to over 40 rides and and 15 shows! You’ll find hair raising roller coasters and gentle, relaxing rides. Dollywood has fun bluegrass shows, comedy shows, and more to see! There’s something here for everyone to enjoy. The park opens in March this spring.

Along it you will come across rustic cabins, old churches, and view other primitive structures. Cades Cove is also a great place to see native wildlife like deer, turkey, and bears.
Spring in the Smokies is a beautiful time of year. Trees will be budding with new leaves, and spring flowers will be popping up.
